Men see movements, women see colours

According to a study published in Biology of Sex Differences, men have greater sensitivity to fine detail and seeing moving stimuli while women are better at discriminating between colours.  Some of these differences may be linked to the high concentrations of male sex hormones in the visual cortex, which means that men have more neurons in this part of the brain than women.
